Description and Requirements

Responsible for selling complex technical solutions which comprise of hardware, software, and services. Typically require a long sales cycle and substantial customization. The solution sellers evaluate market trends and business requirements/strategy to provide a technical solution to customer’s problems. May sell products from various business lines that are often strategic in nature.

Representative Responsibilities
  • Understand assigned clients and business partner’s business requirements; apply knowledge of Lenovo products and/or solutions to help clients and business partners to meet their business objectives
  • Account management; identify business opportunities, achieve assigned financial/non financial goals, and identify opportunities to increase ‘wallet share’ within assigned clients and business partners
  • Analyze problems by using past sales experience and good judgment; work with other functions or team members to develop solutions to resolve problems
  • Under minimum direction, develop relationships which promote the understanding of clients and business partners’ business objectives and goals
Interaction
  • Develop relationships which promote an understanding of the customers’ business goals and objectives
  • Negotiate effectively with team members, clients and other functions to identify specific client needs and develop appropriate solutions

Problem Solving
  • Work effectively with other team members to understand customer needs; develop solutions to meet those needs 
  • Recognize problems; demonstrate creativity and good judgment in identifying new approaches and solutions 
  • Generate and coordinate solutions with other functions, based on analytical skills and IT knowledge
Typical Education & Experience
  • Bachelor degree, with  at least 3 years related experience or equivalent
  • Advanced / Fluent English
  • Knowledge within Server, Cloud, Storages.
