Position description :

As Consumer Marketing manager you are responsible for building our Lenovo Brand and drive demand generation covering our consumer PC business promoting our Legion and Yoga product portfolios including services like Premium Care.

  • You develop and manage the long term and quarterly consumer marketing plan and budget
  • You build and execute branding activities in the consumer market
  • You build and execute retail campaigns with selected retailers in Sweden, Finland and Baltics
  • You execute events on local level e.g. gaming events and in events in retail
  • You manage the budget, planning, timeline, and execution of all activities with retailers on marketing programs
  • You determine the primary metrics for measuring program/tactic success
  • You understand the competitive landscape and be able to develop appropriate responses and actions


You will be part of the Nordic Marketing community, that consists of two other Marketing Managers, three Marketing Students and you will report to the Nordic Marketing Director.  The Marketing Manager will interact with the Marketing Team, Business Leaders and Local Sales Teams to define the local programs needed to develop the Lenovo brand and create demand and addressing end-customers and our retail partners. The position will have extensive support from EMEA and WW Marketing organizations as well.



This role will require high levels of autonomy, pro-activity, creativity, strategic understanding and an ability to think and act fast as well as being proactive and responsive. The person will be responsible for defining the Consumer Marketing Plan, integrate Nordic/local strategy into local marketing requirements and activities and to execute and evaluate these. Tight margins in the industry lead to an absolute focus on return on investment and clear accountability for every activity.


Position requirements :

  • You have at least a BA/BS Degree in Marketing, Retail Management, or a related field
  • You have 5 years of Marketing, Retail Store Marketing or Agency experience in account management/development
  • You have the ability to manage multiple accounts/tasks, along with the ability to prioritize and produce a high volume of work in a timely manner, which is accurate, complete, and of high quality
  • Working knowledge of consumer technology is preferred and budget management experience a plus
  • Project coordination skills are required, as well as a realistic working understanding of management by objectives
  • You are open minded, pragmatic, flexible, always with a smile and not afraid to try new things and structures
  • You are energetic and strive to improve every day
  • You have a high activity level and work well under pressure
  • Must be a creative individual who is well organized with strong communication skills
  • You have a proven ability to establish and maintain honest and effective working relationships with individuals from all backgrounds
  • Proficient in English and one of the Nordic languages
  • Must be willing to travel a few times throughout the year
