Description and Requirements

The Consumer Sales Strategy & Operations role is focused on optimizing short-term sales performance and creating the strategy for long-term growth. The individual is responsible for providing analysis and reporting of sales-related data in an ongoing effort to increase overall productivity and drive data-based decision making. The role will be involved in implementing sales directives to inform product portfolio decisions, and will support the business planning process, including annual planning and sales target setting. The role is expected to drive operational efficiency and productivity by improving processes and developing tools, dashboards and automated reporting.  This is a high exposure role that will regularly interface with Sales, Marketing, Product Operations, Supply Chain, Product Development, and Finance.

Additional responsibilities include:

  • Participate and drive weekly sales account review meetings – ensure materials are prepared accurately and on-time 
  • Build tools, models and slide decks to make data accessible and consumable for sales teams and other stakeholders
  • Build and automate weekly reports to establish strong market intelligence within sales teams
  • Manage internal sales databases and external market data
  • Perform ad-hoc strategic analysis
  • Support sales territory planning by measuring and indexing performance to identify regional opportunities
  • Identify KPIs to measure and manage sales team performance
  • Support cross-functional teams and initiatives including category, marketing, business operations and finance
