Description and Requirements


The Cost Management Specialist is responsible for executing and optimizing billing validation processes from our warranty support vendors from all countries within Latin American Spanish region (South and Central America), necessary for managing our cost structure and allow decision making to managers within Service Delivery area. This role must support control processes of our cost performance within Warranty and Services business areas to ensure the fulfillment of budget commitments for the region, aligned to company’s Strategy. Additionally, this position is also responsible for generating efficiencies within our internal reporting required to enhance analytics and data output for operational presentations intended for Service’s directors and Country Managers.


Duties:

  • Own and control overall billing validation process from main warranty vendors across all GEO
  • Consolidate resulting cost data within our internal reporting and cloud analytics tools to set up cost metrics analytics
  • Reconcile and analyze approved charges against posted invoices within our ledger
  • Support Service Finance forecasting cycles and annual budget activities
  • Generate and deliver billing reports to internal customers inside the Service Delivery area intended to support decision making from stakeholders
  • Create Billing presentations aimed to Service management
  • Lead enhancements of internal reporting and processes to increase cloud reporting and metrics
  • Must be able to work independently and have the ability to interact with coworkers, management and external teams (suppliers).
  • Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to summarize and present complex data in an organized, concise manner.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ Years experience in Finance, Controls and Metrics generation.
  • 2+ Years experience in IT environment and Partner relationship (desirable)
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accountant or Management.
  • Experience using data base programs is desirable (SQL/Hyperion)
  • Experience using Cloud Analytics is desirable (Qlik Sense)
  • Process oriented, logical thinker. Analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Advance English.
