Description and Requirements
Responsible for supporting the business from the intellectual property perspective, including but not limited to:
1. Drafting and reviewing all portions of contracts and other legal documents relating to intellectual property, and participating in related commercial negotiations – all in support of the relevant commercial attorneys;
2. Participating in the formulation of the company's intellectual property-related policies and risk management processes – and in promulgating and enforcing the same.
3. Identifying and communicating intellectual property risk assessments for projects and providing risk mitigation strategies;
4. Providing IP legal consulting, training, and other support to business units, commercial legal department, and other relevant business and functional departments;
5. From the IP perspective, tracking, analyzing, and interpreting relevant policies and laws in China, and providing legal advice and suggestions based on the company's business and product model.
Candidate Qualifications
Work Experience:
5+ years of working experience in intellectual property law in a well-known law firm or well-known enterprise, with computer, communication, information technology, or related industry experience.
Education requirements:
A Bachelor's degree or above from a famous law school, with a cross-education background in computer, communication, information technology, or other related majors. Overseas study experience is preferred.
Language Requirements:
Strong written and spoken English
Qualification Requirements:
- Passing the judicial examination is required
- Passing the patent agent qualification examination is preferred
Other qualifications:
- The successful candidate with be an enthusiastic self-starter with the ability to manage multiple high-priority projects and to perform under time pressure.
- The candidate should have excellent written and verbal communication skills
- The candidate should be a great team player, ready to take on new challenges.
