Description and Requirements

Do you aspire to become a part of the Finnish management team of one of the world’s largest IT companies that chooses to be different and better? We are looking for an ambitious leader who helps us reach our goals and will be the force behind customer and partner success in Finland. 

This is a role with high business visibility, in which you will directly lead the SMB and Channel team, while at the same time serve as a Country Manager for Finland.

Lenovo is already a clear #1 PC player in Finland with 40% IDC PC Market share, with further growth opportunities in SMB, Server Infrastructure and Services & Solutions. Our ambition is to be #1 in the SMB segment across and in line with the company’s worldwide goals and market position. Achieving this is a key element in your assignment as our new leader - you will define the end-to-end business strategy and execute on it. 


Your responsibilities include: 

  • You will be the Site Leader/Country Manager of Lenovo Finland, being the external face, co-managing all employees in different business teams and drive the combined Lenovo business even further.
  • You will directly lead the SMB customer segment (1-1000 workspaces) and channel organization and are responsible for the SMB business results in Finland including the following metrics: Revenue, market share and gross profit.
  • You define and execute the Finnish Channel and Distribution Partner strategy, including the following metrics: Channel and Distribution Partner satisfaction, Employee satisfaction as well as specific KPI’s that enable our growth strategy (Share of Wallet growth, identifying new Channel Partners, Channel Partner enablement, Market Share development).  
  • You will be managing the key Channel Partner and Distribution relationships daily and ensure execution of the plan. Focus areas are generation of new business (partners), driving synergies between Top Channel Resellers and Distribution Partners and managing collaboration between Channel Partner Management, 4P (Category) Management and the Mid-Market (end user sales) team. 
  • You build yearly, quarterly, and weekly planning and forecasts with action plans to support the objectives. You manage sell-in and sell-out with partners and keep inventory status healthy.


This is what we expect from you:

  • Proven, successful commercial track record in international B2B Sales Management. You represent a true sales culture and have great presentation skills. People feel excited and motivated when you speak
  • Proficiency at planning, execution, and a hands-on business management
  • Excellent collaboration skills are a must to successfully orchestrate Marketing, Product Management and End User sales activities
  • P&L- management and business planning 
  • Channel, Distribution and Direct Sales competences and experience within Personal Computing and IT portfolio and services 
  • Fluency in English, written and verbal
