Description and Requirements

This is a highly visible demand planning, operations, and management role on a high-performance team whose objective is to achieve industry-leading consumer PC operations. Responsibilities include demand forecasting, supply commits, inventory planning, managing corresponding retail account operations, and consumer retail group consolidation communication. Leadership, negotiation and close collaboration with cross-functional groups such as business planning, product management, sales, marketing, supply chain, global business unit, and customer support teams are paramount to achieve key objectives. 

Responsibilities: 
  • Accountability for Retail specific supply/demand and operations management for a major retail partner. 
  • E2E ownership of SKU lifecycle management including, forecasting, commits, CPFR and FGI. 
  • Continuously improve forecasting techniques, method, and approach with the objective of achieving optimum accuracy. 
  • Evolve and maintain documentation and standard operating procedures for demand planning processes and IT system requirements. 
  • Own and manage the supply commit process for your assigned partner. 
  • Support the efforts of Partner AE in fulfilling their responsibilities to sell and install Lenovo products, offerings, solutions, and services 
  • Effectively conduct customer briefings and recommendations, in the support and optimization of CPFR Process 
  • Work directly with the sales team, both inside and field sales; also interfaces with Geo executive team regularly Analyze complex or new situations; manage business solutions or implement new approaches, procedures, or processes
  • Influence and advise management on critical and strategic decisions or business issue


Requirements:
  • Minimum 3 years of Retail and/or e-commerce experience in the areas of the supply chain, planning, or operations. 
  • Minimum 5 years of customer interface experience.
  •  Collaborative Planning, Forecasting, and Replenishment (CPFR) management experience. 
  • Knowledge of manufacturing and logistics principles 
  • Excellent verbal, written, interpersonal communication skills are essential for all internal and external interactions 
  • Ability to communicate/negotiate with all levels of a customer organization, as well as with internal executives, explain critical concepts and ideas in a clear and concise manner   
  • Goal-oriented, operationally disciplined, and initiative-driven focused on continuous improvement.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to think strategically.  
  • Strong financial literacy. 
  • Self-starter with a strong work ethic. 
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to effectively influence and communicate with executive levels of management.
