The Insights Center of Excellence supports data driven Marketing through actionable insights, empowering teams to make effective decisions and impactfully share the Lenovo story with the world.
The Customer Insights Manager will ensure best practice research methodology and design to provide stakeholders with reliable, valid, and insightful information from our customers and the Industry.
The Customer Insights Manager will lead primary end user research using both quantitative and qualitative methods and drive a systematic process to engage with our Marketing and product teams to leverage insights throughout product development and Marketing process.
The Customer Insights Manager will have responsibility for both consumer and commercial offerings. This role requires collaboration with a range of stakeholders across our teams based in many global locations, including India, China, Europe and USA. The right candidate must be able to work with ambiguity, setting up processes and driving implementation. The Customer Insights Manager will be highly detail oriented, analytical and proactive.
Basic Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Marketing or related field MBA, MMR or other related Masters preferred
- 10+ years related experience
- Previous market research experience in qualitative and quantitative methodologies, including segmentation, personas, and customer decision journeys
- Proven experience with survey questionnaire design and ability to write and/or edit surveys for complex topics
- Experience driving large-scale, multi-country projects, navigating nuance of multiple cultures in a matrixed environment.
- MBA, MMR or other related Masters
- Proven ability in driving cross functional marketing teams toward a common goal
- Understanding of typical research methodologies such as conjoint analysis, max diff, typing algorithms, etc.
- An analytical mind, able to manage details but also see the big picture in order to tell the story
- Strong attention to detail and willingness to roll up sleeves and work through any issues that emerge.
- Must be proactive and highly organized, with ability to manage and move projects forward
- Excellent communication skills – written and verbal
- Action oriented & results driven – can ‘make things happen’
- Ability to work independently
- Technology industry experience is a plus

The base salary budgeted range for this position in CA, CO, Jersey City - NJ, NV, Ithaca - NY, NYC, WA, is $100K-130K. Individuals may also be considered for bonus and/or commission. Lenovo’s various benefits can be found on www.lenovobenefits.com.
