Description and Requirements
We are hiring a Summer 2024 Intern to join our team as a Customer Quality Engineer. This position offers a broad range of experience inside Cloud Service Provider Manufacturing Engineering within a globally well respected Supply Chain. This is a hands-on position that will expand your understanding of hardware, subsystems and customer engagement. In addition, you will be working with a global team of technology experts within one of the world's leading technology firms.
What You'll Do:
- Assists with E2E SC Client Facing Quality customer relationships to drive continuous improvements using data analytics.
- Review customer’s quality KPIs and help drive product performance to meet those targets using trend analysis.
- Analyze end-to-end customer data and identify opportunities for improvements.
- Drive consistency in product performance across WW MFG sites and DataCenter processes for Cloud Service Provider Products.
- Learn to make quick, effective decisions and prioritize your projects to focus on the ones that have the highest impact to the business.
- Participate in internal and external meetings as necessary to understand quality data.
- Develop and document quality metrics and create presentations/reports to the customers and the Lenovo team.
Basic Requirements:
- Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Supply Chain Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Sales Engineering, or Quality Management
Preferred Qualifications:
- Analytical and Problem-solving skills using data
- Willingness to ‘roll your sleeves up’ and dig deep into learning Manufacturing and Field Data Management
- Project management/leadership skills
- Ability to successfully manage multiple tasks at one time
- Ability to overcome obstacles and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment
- Must be attentive to details in order to engage in Product BOM Reviews
- Strong Communication Skills, Diligence and Self-motivated to Follow Up on Defined Activities
- Ability, flexibility, and willingness to work with Cross-functional Teams
