Description and Requirements
Lenovo is looking for a passionate, articulate, and enthusiastic Data Center Sales Executive focussed on MSPs and ISVs. The successful candidate will join our experienced team of Key Account Managers. The reporting line will be to the Sales Manager for the Infrastructure Solution Group.
- Establish relationships with new customers and secure contracts with new customers, MSP´s and ISV´s with focus on Data Center Solutions.
- Identifying potential customers using various direct methods such as calling and face to face meetings, and indirect methods such as utilizing your existing network.
- Developing mid-/long term territory plans that are in accordance with the above and the forecasted sales targets.
- Drive the entire sales cycle from initial customer engagement to closed sales.
- Qualify prospects against company criteria for ideal customers and sales.
- Consult with prospect about business challenges and requirements, as well as the range of options and cost benefits of each.
- Provide forecasts on best case and most likely sales volumes over relevant time periods.
- Cultivate strong relationships with third party and partner companies that may be required to deliver full solutions to customers.
- Work with internal functions like technical sales teams, marketing or the delivery team.
- Provide feedback to company management on market trends, competitive threats, unmet needs, and opportunities to deliver greater value to customers by extending company offerings
- Previous sales experience (5 years) within the IT or related industries (Data Center solutions, software or services experience is an advantage).
- Entrepreneurial mind-set with self-starting capability – can-do attitude with a high level of self-motivation.
- Desire and ability to provide an outstanding customer experience and go the extra mile in everything you do.
- Understanding of the core technologies, industry trends, and workloads shaping the Data Center market including Cloud, Converged Systems, and Analytics.
- Knowledge of MS Office and sales CRM solutions (MS Dynamics) but also use interactive tools including chat, forums, E-Mail, monitoring and other web based social media to exceed customer expectations.
- Reporting to: Senior Solutions Sales Manager
- Fluent in German and English language
- Location: anywhere in Germany
