Description and Requirements

We’re hiring a talented Data Quality Engineer and Data enthusiast to work in our platform to help ensure that our data quality is flawless. As a company, we have millions of new data points every day that come into our system. You will be working with a passionate global team of engineers to solve challenging problems and ensure that we can deliver the best data to our customers, on-time. This will involve working with cross-functional business and technology teams to design the data quality processes & services and implement defined data quality rules in the Data Quality Management System.

Responsibilities include: 

  • Work with Data Quality Managers to translate business rules into data quality rules and implement them on the DQ platform
  • Identify and manage critical data quality issues and risks to deliver continuous data quality
  • Develop process and implement technical solutions to monitor data quality on an ongoing basis
  • Develop data quality automation tests and data pipelines, including development of test plans and test cases
  • Test large and complex data sets
  • Ensure high level of data integrity
  • Work with DQ manager and analyst to define strategies for continuous improvement of data quality

Qualifications and Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree (in Computer Science or related field)
  • 2+ years of experience in high tech domain working with Data Governance and Quality Solutions, Master Data Management Solutions and/or Data Management / Programming Languages.
  • Experience working with large data sets
  • High level of proficiency with either SQL or noSQL databases
  • Proficient with SQL scripting, Python or similar scripting language
  • Experience in one or more data quality tools. Experience with Informatica IDQ, Axon, & EDC is preferred
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skill
  • Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills.
  • Familiarity working in a global team environment, e.g. with teams in China, India, Europe
  • Self-starter and decisive personality, comfortable working in an ambiguous environment with a high sense of accountability.
