We’re looking for a Data, Server, Storage and Network Business Development Manager to join our award-winning Channel Sales Organisation. You’ll work alongside all our Platinum Channel Sales teams and Partner Community to encourage growth in our Data, Server, Storage and Network business. As the Specialist in this discipline, you will be the teams go-to Person.

 
Recognised as the technology evangelist, a strong in-depth understanding of a commercial channel sales mode, competitive products/propositions and software applications. Strong sales experience, coupled with a deep understanding of the technology is also essential to 

  • Drive the Platinum teams Data, Server, Storage and Network sales ambitions
  • Own and deliver on Key Business Metrics
  • Utilize CX Level Relationships to Contribute to the Joint Business planning of key strategic partners

These are your detailed responsibilities: 

  • Establish ‘trusted advisor’ status with new and existing colleagues and Partners
  • Build relationships via online and face to face Platinum Partner visits
  • Utilise solution selling to deliver best in class customer experience
  • Recognise potential sales opportunities and work with the team to achieve a successful conclusion
  • Execute the Platinum teams Data, Server, Storage and Network Go To Market Strategy
  • Contribute towards Joint Business Planning to maximise share within key strategic partners and influence within Quarterly Business Reviews
  • Co-ordinate with key stakeholders to sync programmes and quarterly product campaigns
  • Drive marketing activities to stimulate interest and broaden Lenovo’s reach in new markets and customers 
  • Deliver updates/reviews in-line with quarterly/weekly sales and forecasting cadence
    Create material to grow the understanding and capability of the Channel sales community 
  • Provide Business analysis on market segments, route to market and product opportunities
    Maintain a high level of market and industry knowledge 

We are looking for a proven, highly motivated, and successful business development manager.

You’ll have:

  • Experience in Business Development
  • A Customer centric approach
  • 3+ years’ experience in Sales Roles with PC Industry knowledge preferable
  • Understanding of a Channel Sales Model
  • Superior problem solving & analytical skills, metric driven with strong business acumen
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong customer presentation skills both face to face and online
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel & PowerPoint skills
  • Systematic, persistent and efficient when managing both time and accounts
  • Use interactive tools including chat, forums, email, monitoring and other web based social media to exceed customer expectation
  • Ability to carry a quota and overachieve month over month
