Description and Requirements

Job Summary: As a Deployment Project Manager for TruScale Hybrid Cloud Services at Lenovo, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the successful deployment and integration of newly acquired business into our hybrid cloud and cloud services. You will be responsible for ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget, while maintaining the highest standards of quality and customer satisfaction.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Project Planning and Execution:
    1. Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, timeline, resource allocation, and budget.
    2. Coordinate and lead project teams to execute deployment projects efficiently.
    3. Ensure adherence to project management methodologies and best practices.
  2. Stakeholder Management:
    1. Establish and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
    2. Communicate project status, risks, and issues effectively to all relevant parties.
    3. Identify and manage stakeholder expectations throughout the project lifecycle.
  3. Resource Management:
    1. Allocate and manage project resources, including team members, vendors, and equipment.
    2. Monitor resource utilization and adjust as necessary to meet project objectives.
  4. Risk and Issue Management:
    1. Identify project risks and issues proactively and develop mitigation and contingency plans.
    2. Take appropriate actions to address and resolve issues that may impact project success.
  5. Quality Assurance:
    1. Ensure that project deliverables meet or exceed quality standards.
    2. Conduct regular quality assessments and implement improvements as needed.
  6. Financial Management:
    1. Monitor project budget and expenditures to ensure projects stay within financial constraints.
    2. Prepare and submit financial reports as required.
  7. Documentation and Reporting:
    1. Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including project charters, plans, and reports.
    2. Provide regular project status updates to senior management and stakeholders.
  8. On-Site Engagement:
    1. Collaborate directly with our valued customers, dedicating approximately 70% of your working hours to on-site presence at the customer location in Mexico City, fostering strong client relationships and delivering exceptional service
 

Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor's degree in business, IT, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
  2. Proven experience as a project manager, preferably in hybrid cloud services deployment.
  3. Strong understanding of hybrid cloud architectures, technologies, and best practices.
  4. Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  5. Fluent English level.
  6. PMP or other relevant project management certification is a plus.
  7. Proficiency in project management software and tools.
  8. Ability to work on premise at Customer Site in Mexico City 70% of time
  9. Ability to travel to travel within Latin America and Globally
