Description and Requirements


  • Partner with key internal stakeholders and other senior leaders to develop and continually refine the major strategic engagements that guide Lenovo’s transformation into “Everything as a Service” company
  • Drive proactive deal sourcing and pipeline development by identifying key partnership opportunities
  • Lead and execute successful transactions including deal negotiation, structuring, due diligence, financial modeling, integration, and project management
  • Cultivate and expand strong business relationships with Lenovo’s alliance partners and other industry leaders, with emphasis on the services and industry vertical solutions
  • Develop and execute evaluation process with robust strategic rationale, clear decision criteria, and in-depth analysis
  • Subject matter expert on services and solutions ecosystem, adjacent industries and relevant markets in order to identify pertinent trends, developments and opportunities


  • Polished leader with proven strategy development skills and dynamic abilities to execute those strategies
  • Exceptional business acumen and a progressive, visionary mindset focused on forever changing the business landscape for the better
  • 8+ years of experience in business development or a series of related roles
  • IT Services industry experience, and specifically experience in/with Global System Integrators, Managed Service Providers, and Cloud Service Providers – particularly in joint solution development and go-to-market partnerships with hardware OEM service arms.
  • Preference for candidates who have experience working in direct as well as indirect (channel friendly) go-to-market models.
  • Preferably experience in global business development, inclusive of Asia Pacific / China.
  • Proven experience in successful deal origination, structuring, and strategic execution
  • Exceptional presentation and communication with a C-level audience
  • Able to operate in a highly strategic and visionary role while also executing on day-to-day requirements
  • Proven success developing strong relationships and influencing without authority
  • Agile, adaptable and able to thrive under pressure in an innovative, fast-paced, environment marked by continual change
  • High aptitude to learn quickly, with ability to navigate situations involving ambiguity and limited precedent
  • Four-year university degree, with advanced degree preferred
