We are looking for the person who challenges the ordinary and seeks to innovate in learning, while also balancing execution. Lenovo is looking for a dynamic sales leader with an entrepreneurial spirit to lead our Americas Group (NA and LAS) DaaS Pursuit sales team. 

The Director for DaaS Sales Pursuit AG will be responsible for driving DaaS solution sales in the Global, Large Enterprise and Public Sector account base in the America's Group and will lead the sales team responsible for meeting the targets and strategy set by the worldwide sales director for DaaS. They will be instrumental in supporting the sales team in winning new deals and engaging with customers up to C-Level throughout the sales cycle. In addition, they will have responsibility for setting team quota, quarterly and yearly regional strategies, internal measurement and reporting to leadership and the overall performance of the Americas Group DaaS objectives.

This position will manage 6+ direct reports located across the US, Canada and LAS. The leader will be responsible for managing relationships with the Lenovo Global Financial Services team, engaging in 3rd party partner relationships where needed, partnering with segment sales leaders and will be required to develop and execute a DaaS solution strategy for the respective account teams customers. The role will support the LAS region and the wider North America Services Sales team which is heavily relied upon by sales segments to identify and develop services opportunities while calling on our top customers in a direct sales role. The team will sell an expanding portfolio of services surrounding Lenovo Hardware, Software and Lenovo Global Financial Services which constitutes Device as a Service. These services include but are not limited to: Support services, warranty and service contract upgrades, protection services, simple deployment services and complex managed services. Future services will include various aspects of professional services that are required to plan, support, and install complex hardware products. The position can be based anywhere in the US with 50% travel required.

Position Requirements: 

• Candidate must have a successful track record of leading a high performance sales team selling to a global and local customer base .

• 10 years or more of outcome based professional services, sales management, or IT sales selling at C-Level

• Demonstrable experience of working effectively with internal stakeholders to achieve company and customer goals

• Strong understanding of the IT, services, HW and/ or SW industries 

• Ability to structure and guide complex Services proposal pricing and solutions from a sales view 

• Excellent presentation skills, professional presence and customer facing skills 

• 50% travel 

• Bachelor’s Degree preferred
