Description and Requirements
As the Director of our North America Category SMB Business, you will partner with the SMB sales leader, Commercial Product Manager and the WW business unit to build the strategy for this segment across North America to achieve our ambitious growth expectations in terms of volumes, revenue, profit and market share. You will devise solutions and strategies to improve performance and overcome daily and longer-term business challenges and drive our quarterly SMB business cadence.

- lead the optimal execution of our long term and short term business plans to achieve our goals
- drive our SMB business management cadence across NA
- set our best-in-class product portfolio and line-up
- provide clear and detailed market and competitive analysis
- deliver our financial and material forecasting
- keep our SMB business on-track, and help us respond to a highly dynamic market
- Focal Point for sales, Alliances and BU Engagement
- Be a Lenovo SMB advisor for our key customers and partners.
Basic Requirements:
- 10+ years’ experience in the IT industry focused on the SMB sector, in similar matrixed and complex organization and operating at a Geo level
- 5+ years’ experience leading team of professional business and product managers and individual contributors
- A willingness to travel 15-20% of the time, engaging the markets, customers, partners, and global teams
Preferred Requirements:
- Demonstrate a track record of outperforming market growth in terms of Revenue, Market Share, & profit
- The ability to succeed through influence and persuasion
- Emotional intelligence, flexible work style, and excellent diplomatic skills across all levels of the organization
- High levels of numeracy and expertise in managing P&L
- The ability to communicate complex business concepts and challenges, and data clearly and succinctly.
