Description and Requirements

Lenovo is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Director of Consumer Marketing who is responsible for developing the marketing strategy to support the North America consumer business, working in close collaboration with global business units, worldwide marketing and NA business leadership. Reporting to the CMO of North America Marketing, this role will be responsible for generating awareness and consideration while driving demand for Lenovo’s broad portfolio of consumer products through integrated marketing campaigns and partner programs. This leader will be tasked with growing the Lenovo brand with engaging multi-channel programs with a digital-first mindset and innovative approaches. This position will also maintain retail and eCommerce sales alignment while ensuring that strategic objectives are accomplished.


Responsibilities:

  • Lead retail and brand marketing teams with a growth mindset and focus on professional development
  • End to end ownership of consumer marketing strategy and execution for NA to drive demand for Lenovo products and impact sell in and sell out
  • Drive Lenovo PC premium and gaming brand initiatives in NA and
  • Deliver best In class customer experience in all touch points (Omnichannel)
  • Own, develop and manage the advertising and promotions budget, expanding joint funding opportunities with Lenovo key alliance partners including Intel, AMD, Microsoft, Nvidia, etc.
  • Lead relationships and program development with retailers and key partners
  • Partner with the executive leadership team, including sales, business management, product marketing, operations, and finance to understand key business initiatives and priorities
  • Partner with WW marketing organization on the campaign creation and content development
  • Build key reporting infrastructure to track and to optimize campaign effectiveness, program-level effectiveness, and performance against stated goals

Qualifications

  • BA in Business, Marketing or a related degree
  • 10 years marketing experience in B2C and B2B2C corporate environment with 5+ years in leadership and management role
  • Experience building and driving consumer and retail marketing strategies and execution
  • Deep understanding of brand building, channel management, digital marketing, social and community engagement, emerging IT trends and their impact on the partner eco-system
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, exceptional storytelling, including executive presentations.
  • Results-driven with a consistent record of delivering on company growth through consumer and retail/ecommerce engagement strategies
  • Ambitious, self-starter, thrives in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment, effectively manages priorities
  • Exceptional cross-group collaboration skills to successfully and independently work across many teams and functions
  • Experienced in planning, strategic thinking, business savvy, execution excellence, detail-oriented
  • High integrity, capable of excellent judgement and decision-making skills, showing the utmost discretion in the management of confidential corporate information
  • Top-level critical thinking and planning skills, including ability to set priorities, manageable work-plans and work within budgets
