Lenovo SSG hybrid cloud team is seeking a Director of Strategy and Chief of Staff to play a major role in our services-led transformation and offering/ solution innovation. This role is tailored for an individual contributor who has the proven ability to develop offering development strategy, influence senior stakeholders, make meaningful investment decisions at the organizational level and coordinate activities and projects across the organization.

As the strategy leader and the Chief of Staff, you will analyze the competitive landscape and make the investment recommendations for hybrid cloud business in terms of organic and inorganic growth in the fast-paced IT services market. You will work hand-in-hand with Lenovo Corporate Development and SSG’s Head of Strategy to develop hybrid cloud strategy, perform build vs. buy analyses, and lead cross-functional team on execution. You will be responsible for achieving results through your incisive business acumen, strong relationships. You will also act as a liaison between the general manager of hybrid cloud and other members of the executive team, ensuring that priorities are aligned and that projects are being executed effectively.

As the Director of Strategy and Chief of Staff for Hybrid cloud team, you will have a meaningful impact on Lenovo by executing the company vision of "Smarter Technology for All" as a services-led company. You will develop strategies and execute investments that are aligned to Lenovo’s "3S" strategy of delivering Smart IoT, Smart Infrastructure, and Smart Verticals. You will ensure strong customer outcomes by working across business units as One Lenovo, anchored in Solutions and Services excellence. 

Position Requirements: 

Minimum Qualifications: 

• MBA from an accredited institution 
• 15+ years of experience of building strategy for services business
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Familiarity with end user devices as well as data center infrastructure and operational technology, including the major investors in these industries 
• Experience working in a global company or with globally dispersed stakeholders 

Preferred Qualifications: 

• Experience as the buy-side M&A Deal Lead or Deal Sponsor 
• Strong project management skills 
• Experience at a Fortune 500 firm as well as technology start-up environment
