We're looking for an enthusiastic sales professional to join our PC Distribution Sales Team.
As a Distribution Account Manager (m/f/d), you take responsibility to drive Lenovo's business with your assigned Distribution partners. Even more, you make your distribution accounts successful with Lenovo business. To achieve this, you count on building a strong relationship, strategic and forward thinking planning and outstanding collaboration with your external counterparts at the distribution's side as well as perfect internal teamplay.
In your role, you will:
- Establish, manage and maintain relationships with Distributors - at executive, management, product manager and sales representative level.
- Be real inspirer for our Lenovo 360 value proposition and continuously increase Lenovo share inside your targeted Distributors.
- Develop and implement a strategic account plan for each Distributor with special focus on Client business and our incubation topics.
- Drive pro-active strategic business & marketing planning.
- Ensure the full benefits of the Lenovo TopSeller portfolio are understood through key communications and training activities.
- Manage weekly forecasting and opportunity tracking to provide realistic weekly shipments forecast.
- Together with our channel enablement team you take ownership that our distributors are fully enabled on the Lenovo 360 product portfolio. Consequently, your assigned distributors are fully equipped and motivated to on their end enable resellers to successfully promote the Lenovo products.
- Successfully apply business intelligence and understand how markets and competitors will influence the selling of Lenovo products and services
- Ensure all distributors are aligned to the Distribution Partner Program in terms of target achievement, partner recruitment and utilization of business development funds and also hold the minimum level of inventory required on a quarterly basis to achieve sales goals.
- Together with your inside Sales team partner you excel to juggle all the above mentioned responsibilities flawlessly. The two of you also orchestrate the teamwork of all parties who are involved in the success of the Distribution business such as the Business and Product Management team, your counterpart for the Data Center Distribution business, Services, Sales Enablement, Marketing, Operations, Supply Chain and the Finance Department to name a few.
What is required to be successful in this role:
- 5-7 year proven track record in strategic selling and account management and deep insight into the IT industry.
- Bachelor degree or commercial training in business administration, information technology or similar subjects are preferred, but not a must
- Proven track record of sales experience, ideally in a Distribution/Channel environment
- Very strong sales attitude, ability to be flexible and creative in dealing with customers
- German and English language
- The ability to identify key decision makers and build and maintain relationships across all levels of an organization, including at CXO level.
- Understanding and in-depth knowledge of products and services, industry trends, and competition.
- .. and of course you are a strong team player who loves bringing out the best of cross-functional and diverse teams.
You should either be located in the Stuttgart area or based in an home office in southern Germany.
