Description and Requirements

Lenovo's partners are critical to our overall success and go to market strategy. The Channel Sales team is currently hiring a Distribution SMB Account Manager, with experience supporting channel business relationships and processes to deliver exceptional customer outcomes.

As a Distribution SMB Account Manager we are seeking a dynamic individual to help fuel the growth of our fast paced channel organization.  He/She will help deliver business results and be an important driver of growth for one of our key strategic distributors.  This would include but not limited to all sales activities,  training and education of distribution sellers and Value Added Reseller Partners,  developing and nurturing relationships at all levels of the distributor organization, specific focus on our small and medium sized partner community by helping to creating new revenue streams, loyalty, and overall customer satisfaction. The desired candidate must be highly motivated, a self starter, and fully understand channel sales and distribution as well as partner programs and incentives.  The Account Manager will also need to be able to work in a matrixed environment through collaboration with multiple business units within Lenovo to help deliver on results and business commitments.

Basic Requirements: 

  • At least 5 years of relevant experience.
  • Bachelor's Degree 

Preferred Requirements:

  • Proven track record of sales growth and execution with the ability to forecast, manage business performance and results.
  • Ability to foster collaboration and build influence in cross-functional teams.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Creative thinker who looks for innovative ways to solve business problems.
  • Proven track record of selling solutions with the channel through a solutions sales approach across products, options, services and solutions.
