■About Organization

Commercial Notebook Compliance belongs to Notebook Development and team is divided into Yokohama, Shanghai and Beijing sites. The role of Commercial Notebook Compliance is to handle regulatory reports/certificates required by the worldwide countries as the categories of Safety, EMC, Environment and Homologation (Radio Frequency Communication and Telephone Communication). Without the complete set of regulatory reports/certificates, it is illegal to ship any product to worldwide so, it is very important mission to launch products to worldwide in time.

■Roles and responsibilities

This engineer is expected to be EMC certification engineer who will have the overall responsibilities for successfully certification/approval of product development by providing information about design for approval at project kick-off and ensure final certification without non-compliance issue before product launch.

1. Examine a product from the viewpoint of regulatory compliance and identify necessary standards and requirements.

2. Plan official certification test/approval schedule by EPR timing

3. Manage overall approval process and take necessary action

4. Have responsibility for regulatory filings and keeping records and other documents required by certification bodies

5. Verify the complete set of necessary reports/certificates to be ready by the planned SS date.

6. Handle POST GA certification related tasks (e.g. renewal of expired certificate) if necessary.
