Description and Requirements

As EMEA Business Sales Lead (B2B Solutions - Smartphones & Services Sales), reporting to the EMEA GM you will identify new business opportunities in order to generate sales/revenue, improve profitability and grow Motorola B2B business, as part of a high-performance team, the leader in innovations and relevant brand as Motorola (Mobile Business Group from Lenovo)

This role involves careful strategic planning and positioning in the appropriate markets, or enhancing the operation of the B2B business, position or reputation, working often across all areas of the business.

Types of business management

Business development can be applied with a specific focus on Motorola B2B business (Smartphones & Services Sales), such as:

  • Large Accounts
  • Distributors & VAR (Value Added Resellers)
  • SMB (Small Medium Business)
  • Government


This role is more B2B sales driver and development-oriented:

  • You will research and identify new business opportunities (B2B Solutions - Smartphones & Services Sales)
  • You will stablish solid relations with EMEA key Customers
  • You will improve and nurture the relationship with Lenovo B2B sales structure in order to maximize the impact on Customers (End users and Partners)
  • You will do a periodic analysis of Pipeline and Opportunities of each EMEA country
  • You will do a periodic analysis of sell-in performance vs. forecast/quarterly plan with each EMEA country
  • Identification, implementation and management of bid pricing strategy for running a business
  • You will identify & implement initiatives to maximize mix, margin and overall product contribution to the portfolio & business
  • You will ensure accurate forecasting for relevant products; co-owner (with Sales) for the country's forecast
  • You will support the quarterly EMEA planning cycle process
  • You will collaborate with the Product team to identify the future needs of end-users
  • Management of P&L forecast and week-on-week detailed bridge

Position Requirements:

  • Minimum 10 years of product and/or business management experience
  • Strong & demonstrable commercial/customer understanding; extremely commercially astute
  • Strong understanding of channel management or channel-based sales models
  • Experience with technology products, ideally from Phone industry
  • Strong influencer: able to convince a sales team
  • Confident presenter: able to present ideas/strategies/products in a clear, concise, and convincing manner.
  • Good networking skills; facility in communicating across the company matrix
  • Experience with customers/channel partners – confident to present & engage with
  • Good analytical approach: be able to quickly draw conclusions from company data or market research.
  • Comfortable with financial management and P&Ls
