Description and Requirements


Do you want to be part of a company where everyone adds value and all belong? We are looking for an EMEA Logistics Procurement Intern to work with our Global Supply Chain team. This is a part-time internship position, and you will work in our office in Bratislava. 

This is an ideal job for a student interested in joining a technology/ telecoms industry and learning all about real business.

What will you be doing?

Assisting the EMEA Logistics Procurement Manager and analyst in daily tasks o the below scopes:
  • Performance Management: Supporting monthly and quarterly reviews of suppliers, managing performance metrics, process improvements, corrective actions, and operational highlights and lowlights.
  • Daily Operations: Managing daily assignments, review rates/tariffs quotations, follow up on approval authorizations collection.
  • Issue Resolution: Support internal and external issues and escalations.
  • Logistics Solutions and Network Design: Assisting in the design and implementation of logistics solutions and network designs.
  • Information Gathering: Supporting the gathering of information for RFQs, RFIs, benchmarking, business cases, and assessments.
  • Team Support: Supporting the Logistics Procurement team in the EMEA Region and Lenovo stakeholders as required.

What skills do you need to be successful?

  • Organizational and analytical skills 
  • High interest in joining multinational tech giant
  • Proactive and with ability to identify and resolve issues
  • Good communication and social skills

Position Requirements:

  • Current student of Slovak University
  • Availability for approx. 20 hours per week
  • Advanced knowledge of English, advanced Microsoft Office knowledge
  • People friendly, proactive and willing to communicate with Lenovo colleagues
