Description and Requirements
- You will execute the Logistics Procurement strategy in EMEA Region, roll out Partner Strategy and engage with Lenovo Logistics Supplier base
- Develops strategy and leads negotiations with Logistics Suppliers to secure best in class pricing and rates according to market conditions to exceed business requirements
- You will interact with Lenovo Business Units and align on the long-term direction and network planning, define mid/sort-term plans and deploy agile steps for execution.
- You will own direct Procurement responsibilities covering, but not limited to intra-EMEA transportation (Parts & Finish goods), VMI, DC’s, other Warehousing locations and Customs clearance scopes.
- You will plan, steer and develop supplier relationships on continuous basis. Act as central contact point towards strategic supplier base.
- Engineering of tactical bids, defines tender specifications, evaluates proposals, drafts contracts, leads and facilitates legal, security and liability reviews and executes final contracts with Logistics Suppliers
- You will execute Leadership of the Procurement agenda as per Lenovo Corporate Compliance guidelines, Regulatory limits and right Procurement and Management principles
- Manages Financial forecasting, cost reviews and participates in Business cases and Regional and Global Projects
- Leads Regional cost and network enhancement projects and initiatives
- You will deal with Service, Performance and Cost effectiveness escalations with Supplier and act as a mediator in problem solving
- You will drives Innovation and Improvements initiatives, embrace Digitalization agenda, exploree new Routing, Network solutions and Supplier Service offerings
- Seeks market Intelligence (direct from Suppliers/ Indirect for public Logistics sources)
- You will perform sourcing execution, management of RFQs, RFPs, RFIs and Benchmarks
- You will Hold direct cost, contract terms and dispute negotiations
- You will Perform Provider accreditation, onboarding process (MSA, SOW’s, Accreditation letters, audits, etc..), contract management and rate deployment duties
- You will ensure timely Reporting, right BMS and teams KPI’s are present and achieved
- You will work on Day-to-Day operational support emerging from above Role responsibilities
- You will cooperate with Freight Payment department on Rates release, invoice audit and proper payment process
- Additional responsibilities exist in the nature of the Logistics Procurement scope and will evolve in line with Lenovo and Organizational development
- 8+ years of experience
- Have a strong business understanding
- Excellent collaboration and negotiations skills
- Be able to operate successfully in a rapidly changing and ambiguous environment
- Ability to think critically and strategically

Base gross monthly salary from minimum 2350 EUR and above, depending on experience + variable part 12% of your annual earnings.
