Lenovo TruScale Infrastructure Services gives the customer all the power and strategic advantage of the latest data center hardware through a pay-as-you-go business model. As part of the Global Accounts Business Transformation Consulting group, you will own the alliance and business development responsibilities across the worlds leading consultancies and ERP solution provider. This is a unique opportunity to accelerate your career and expand your skillset in building positive partnerships and enabling the growth of the Lenovo Truscale as a service consumption portfolio.

What you'll do:

  • Actively develop and maintain alliance GTM relationship to jointly support opportunity pursuits between the partner firm and Lenovo.
  • Develop GTM campaigns to raise awareness of joint Lenovo and Partner firm Truscale solutions
  • Build opportunity pipeline through direct engagement with customers leveraging your network and contacts
  • Clearly articulate the value proposition of TruScale (consumption-based subscription offering) to customers and internally within Lenovo
  • Collaborate with local and regional Sales resources, Finance, and Consultants to drive TruScale deal flow
  • Provide thought leadership to prospective Customers on Consumption models
  • Internally evangelize TruScale to in-country sellers and provide guidance on the sales engagement of opportunities

Position Requirements:

  • At least 10+ years work experience in Alliance and business development roles in the IT or Services industry preferably in Services sales and/or Consumption model selling datacenter infrastructure solutions.
  • Strong understanding of services-oriented subscription business economics versus Capex purchases
  • Experience in developing commercial models centered around business value metrics such as cash flow modelling, speed to market and hybrid vs public cloud commercial differences.
  • Capacity to inspire strategic thinking and global vision to facilitate customer business decisions
  • Ability to lead complex strategic and financial discussions
  • Strong understanding of accounting standards applicable to Opex treatment
  • Understanding of Cloud concepts and charging models
  • Must have an understanding of the customer adoption lifecycle including design, build, operate and optimize.
