Motorola Mobility Mobile Devices - Wireless Performance Team is responsible for designing, developing, testing and delivering a world class 5G-NR/LTE/E-HRPD/CDMA/UMTS/GSM wireless Modem Solution. Scope of Responsibilities: Software Architect and technical leader for 5G-NR/LTE/E-HRPD/CDMA/UMTS/GSM Protocol Stack.

The primary responsibility will be:

* System architecture, system engineering, requirement analysis, Coding and End to End Integration of Control & Data Plane of Protocol Stack.
* Candidate will responsible for coming up with new and innovative ideas to improve the power, performance & stability of modem.
* Candidates will actively participate in Field and IOT testing and work closely with our internal RF/Antenna teams and chip set vendors to perform defect analysis and quality fixes.
* Extension and maintenance of legacy code and also software bring-up on new chip-set as required.

Basic Qualifications:

* 3-5+ years of experience with 3GPP 5G-NR/LTE/CDMA/UMTS/GSM related standards.
* 3-5+ years of experience with Android RIL, Telephony, IMS components.
* Strong Domain Expertise on Protocol Stack (NAS, RRC, RLC, PDCP, MAC), LTE Stack(NAS, RRC, eRLC, eMAC, ePDCP), 5G-NR Stack, TCP/IP.
* Strong Knowledge and hands on experience on System Selection, Handover Performances, hardware accelerators
* Proven track record in resolving End-2-End data performance issues & MIPS Optimizations.
* Expert in GIT, End-2-End Data Path Integration, MOL Support.
* Strong verbal and written communication with excellent ability to articulate the technical details.
* Ability to work well in cross-functional teams settings.
* Should be a self starter, and passionate about developing innovative and high quality modem.

Preferred Qualifications:

* 5+ Experience in SW development, trace and debug tools (ARM RVDS, Lauterbach Debugger).
* Experience working in third-party Chip-set solutions will be an added advantage.
* QCOM Chip-sets and QCOM development and debug tools experience will be beneficial.
* 5G-NR related experience on device or network side will be advantageous.
* Strong Expertise in Platform Services (RTOS) & Designing and developing real-time & MIPS efficient code.
