Description and Requirements
Global Commodity Manager for Electrical Components & Semiconductors including Sensors & Discrete Components, etc. which includes the following Procurement responsibilities:
What you will do:
• Manage multi-functional activities across Procurement, Business Units, Finance, Fulfillment, R&D, PE's and Advanced Technology teams.
• Supplier relationship management, contract negotiations, sourcing, supply, supplier performance reviews, financial risk assessments, etc.
• Ensure Procurement best practices, business controls/measurements and compliances are in place.
• Develop and execute the commodity strategy across the business units and geographies. Ensure the strategy aligns and supports corporate initiatives.
• Identify, propose, and execute on innovative solutions to drive technology leadership and/or cost savings.
• Initiate, participate, and/or coordinate required interlocks and business reviews, and executive briefings.
• Provide leadership and direction with consistent communication to hardware teams.
Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree
• 5+ years of relative working industry experience
• 3 years+ Commodity management experience
• Experience with semiconductor / IC technology industry
• Cost analysis and price negotiation capability
• Supply chain management and procurement experience
• Knowledge on contract, finance, and international business regulations
• Familiar with ERP
Preferred Qualifications:
• MBA
• Good communication skills both written/verbal (bilingual English/Chinese)
