Description and Requirements

Management responsibilities for projects engaged in research and/or product development in more than one engineering discipline. 

Designs manufacturing processes, procedures and production layouts for assemblies, equipment installation, processing and material handling. 
Designs arrangement of machines within plant facilities to ensure most efficient and productive layout. 
Designs sequence of operations and specifies procedures for the fabrication of tools and equipment and other functions that affect product performance

May incorporate inspection and test requirements into the production plan. 
Inspects performance of machinery, equipment, and tools to verify their efficiency, and investigates and initiates corrective action of problems and deficiencies to ensure product quality. 

Develops manufacturing processes that are applicable to statistical process control, and may develop those techniques. 
Provides guidance to engineering regarding design concepts and specification requirements to best utilize equipment and manufacturing techniques.
 Ensures processes and procedures are in compliance with regulations.

  * Leading a team of technical professionals with scopes including industrial engineering, systems engineering, program management, work measurement, material flow, factory space management.
  * Driving operations efficiency improvements with stakeholders, including (but not limited to) production operations, engineering, finance, and design teams; this will also include development of capital expense business cases
  * Steering site-wide associate-led continuous improvement, utilizing lean manufacturing methodologies

We are looking for an experienced Industrial Engineer Industrial Engineer with knowledge in capacity calculations.

Needed skills:

  • Conversational and professional English
  • 1-2 years of leadership experience with engineers under your charge
  • Experience with high impact project management
  • Experience using AutoCAD and SolidWorks
  • Greenbelt certification preferred.
  • Experience in manufacturing plant
  • Good with time management
  • Results oriented.
  • Experience in electronics manufacturing company, mostly operational / semi-automated operations
  • Master's degree in some manufacturing related field is desirable.
