Description and Requirements

This position will be based in Western Canada and will require travel within this region. 

Who You’ll Work With: 
At Lenovo, we manufacture one of the world’s widest portfolios of connected products, including PCs (ThinkPad, Yoga, Lenovo Legion), tablets, smartphones and workstations as well as augmented and virtual reality (Mirage, ThinkReality) and smart home/office solutions, software and services. In this role you will be representing the product portfolio for our IDG business. IDG (Intelligent Device Group) – The IDG at Lenovo houses our PC and Smart Devices. We combine investment in high-growth segments (workstations, gaming, visuals, thin and light devices) with new innovation in the smart device categories and continue to explore new opportunities across AR/VR, artificial intelligence (AI), Internet of Things (IoT), security and as-a-service solutions. 

What You'll Do: 
We are looking for a highly dynamic individual with strong relationship and negotiation skills. The Account Executive position will be responsible for driving revenue, profit, and customer satisfaction in Lenovo’s Enterprise accounts (1200+ employees) in the western provinces. This individual will develop and maintain account relationships through senior level engagements with an emphasis on acquiring new Enterprise accounts for Lenovo. The Account Executive will also develop strategies for profit and pricing proposals, as well as communicate and understand Total Cost of Ownership, industry trends, and critical success factors for an effective roll-out. The Account Executive will also be engaged with extended teams in responding to RFPs (Request for Proposals), product transition plans, services and resource planning. This position will be based in Western Canada and will require travel within this region. 

The successful candidate will have a 5 - 7 years proven track record in strategic selling to C level executives, demonstrate strong interpersonal and communications skills, demonstrated team building, leadership and the ability to manage multiple complex sales engagements concurrently. Fully Bilingual in English and French (written and verbal). Candidates must have an entrepreneurial approach that is imaginative, smart, passionate, and approachable. Position Requirements: 
  • B Sc. or BA degree or equivalent professional work experience 
  • 5-7 year sales experience in PC/Data Centre and technology industry is required 
  • Knowledge of the Enterprise space is essential 
  • Excellent territory management skills 
  • Ability to excel in a Team led environment.
