Description and Requirements

Are you an experienced acquisition sales leader? Can you manage & motivate your sales team? 

We are looking for a new Enterprise Acquisition Sales Manager who can manage customer relationships through the face-to-face & internal sales team. You will coach your sales team through a solution led sales methodology. You will report to our Large Enterprise & Public Sector Director in the UK and be a part of the UKI organization. 

What will be your responsibilities? 

• Maintain senior executive relationships both with end-users and channel partners

• Lead account planning process, including identification, pipeline management and individual plans. Supporting process of account-based marketing and lead generation with the marketing team

• Plan and facilitate in conjunction with the sales team complex negotiations

• Responsibility for demand planning, outlook forecast planning and reporting as part of Lenovo's standard planning cycles.

• Overall responsibility for the sales targets for Large Enterprise Acquisition segment through annual budget planning and quarterly sales targets for revenue, profit, quantity and share

Responsibilities as a people manager: 

• Ensure employees understand how their work contributes to Lenovo's strategy, market success and the overall objectives of Lenovo's Enterprise team

• Lead by example, set clear performance standards, provide straightforward feedback respectfully, and actively manage low contributors to improve performance

• Recognize outstanding contributions by employees and the team

• Ensures a positive performance climate through listening to employees, addressing their issues and helping employees succeed in Lenovo's matrix environment

• Fosters teamwork, diversity and inclusion among all employees and the team.

What are the role requirements?

• Knowledge of sales management within a large sales company environment

• You can apply a comprehensive understanding of sales processes and sales management techniques. With a specific focus on managing net new customer acquisition targets through a pipeline to the development stage

• Excellent oral and written communication skills in English

• You can analyze complex/new situations anticipating potential problems and future trends. Can quick assess opportunities, impacts and risks

• You clearly define problems, logically diagnose causes, identifies solutions and creates actions plans 

• You apply creativity in developing new approaches and solutions

• Charisma to lead a sales team selling into multiple industry sectors

• Ability to be both operational and strategic in your approach to sales management

• You can drive growth in building a powerful competitive brand within the enterprise space
