Description and Requirements

Reporting to the SVP of NA Geo and WW CMO, the NA Chief Marketing Officer will be a key contributor alongside the NA Leadership Team. The CMO will have the opportunity to help lead Lenovo through aggressive and expansive growth goals. The CMO will be responsible for revolutionizing the NA marketing organization with a focus on delivering long-term profitable growth through developing and executing a strategic marketing vision. S/he will lead the company’s strategy focused on customer insight, brand marketing, online lead generation and acquisition, traditional and online advertising, product marketing, and communications.

 The successful candidate must be strategic, results-driven, and comfortable with both the analytical and creative sides of acquisition and account-based marketing. 
• A minimum of 10 years of experience in marketing roles with progressing levels of responsibility
• Experience developing and enhancing the selling model – customer acquisition – in-bound selling efforts – post order cross/up selling and customer satisfaction
•  Recruit, hire and develop effective marketing team 
•  Building and expanding key client relationships – major accounts 
• A combination of both B2B and B2C marketing experience would be ideal, but we’ll also consider candidates with one or the other
• CRM and digital marketing program development and management 
•Email marketing 
•  Direct mail 
• Paid search / search engine optimization 
• Marketing measurement and testing disciplines
 • Understanding of marketing and CRM technology - Marketing and customer databases 
•  Campaign management 
•  Reporting and analysis tools
 • Strategy development
  
Customer strategy:
• Channel strategy – eCommerce, inbound sales, outbound sales 
•  Business model development strategy
• Industry knowledge and experience 
• Business systems integration – marketing, order, fulfillment, follow up 
• Website/eCommerce strategy and execution 
• Sales management – setting budgets, revenue goals and quotas 
• Pricing strategy, promotional development and execution 
• Follow through with customer and ensure satisfaction 
• Competitive positioning 
• Product development
