Description and Requirements

As the Executive Director of Delivery Operations at with Lenovo’s Solutions and Services Group, SSG, you will play a pivotal role in leading and overseeing critical aspects of our IT services delivery. You will be at the forefront of driving performance excellence, standardizing metrics, fostering process innovation, and optimizing procurement activities. We are seeking an experienced professional who can lead with vision and passion, ensuring our delivery teams operate at peak efficiency and effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities:

Metrics Reporting:

  • Define and standardize metrics and reporting for delivery teams, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.
  • Regularly publish comprehensive reports, providing actionable insights to stakeholders.
  • Monitor and track key performance indicators (KPIs), initiating actions to enhance performance.

Delivery Process Excellence:

  • Collaborate with service line delivery teams to standardize and streamline delivery processes, including the development of SOPs and templates.
  • Conduct audits to ensure strict adherence to established processes, maintaining high-quality service delivery.
  • Lead process transformation, simplification, and optimization initiatives to enhance operational efficiency.

Automation/Tools:

  • Conduct comprehensive automation assessments for client accounts to identify opportunities for automation and productivity enhancements.
  • Provide expert guidance and support to delivery teams in implementing automation and cutting-edge tools.
  • Drive the adoption of automation and tools across the entire delivery organization.

Procurement Management:

  • Oversee all delivery-related procurement processes, optimizing procurement spend.
  • Centralize and streamline procurement operations, establishing a vendor ecosystem to meet the diverse needs of delivery teams (e.g., hardware, software, tools).

Basic Requirements:

  • 15+ years of experience: A minimum of 15 years in service delivery management roles within the IT service or Managed Service Provider (MSP) industry.
Preferred Requirements:

  • Proven Delivery Excellence: Demonstrated experience in driving delivery process excellence and productivity improvements through automation.
  • Procurement Exposure: Familiarity with procurement processes within the context of an IT service company is a valuable asset.
  • Leadership: Exceptional leadership skills, with a strong ability to inspire and guide teams towards achieving goals.
  • Analytical Skills: Proficiency in analytical and problem-solving capabilities to identify areas for improvement.
  • Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration in a global, cross-cultural environment.
