We are looking for an Export Compliance Specialist with particular focus on restricted party screening. You will report to the Global Trade Compliance Senior Manager. The specialist position is part of Lenovo’s Global Trade Compliance team. The trade compliance specialist is responsible to supporting all aspects of Lenovo’s trade compliance program.
These are your detailed responsibilities:
• Restricted Party Screening
o Prevent prohibited transactions with denied/restricted parties
• Processing of daily export/import operational transactions
• Responsible for monitoring queues and disposition thereof in a timely manner ensuring that all items are worked through to completion or escalated as necessary
• Perform due diligent checks and clearances on blocked orders and parties while monitoring blocked order queues
• Review transactions to ensure accuracy and compliance
• Support export controls
• ECCN classification and general license determination
• Conduct internal audits and reviews
• Prepare compliance reporting, dashboards
• Perform other duties as assigned
• Manage a diverse workload which may include changes in priorities and responsibilities
Position Requirements:
• Bachelor’s Degree preferred
• Minimum 1-3 years’ experience with international trade and/or customs compliance experience
• Knowledge of denied parties and sanctioned country laws and regulations
• Must have good knowledge and experience with export control regulations
• Experience with general licensing determination and ECCN classification a plus
• Capable of research, understand, and interpret legal regulations
• Excellent organizational, analytical and communication skills
• Proficiency with MS Office applications
• Experience with SAP GTS helpful
• Proficiency in English; spoken and written
• Ability to travel

Base gross monthly salary from 1700 EUR gross depending on experience + variable part 12% of your annual earnings
