Description and Requirements

Employer: FCNT, LLC
Work location: Sanki-Yamato Building, 7-10-1 Chuo-rinkan, Yamato, Kanagawa
Smoking: Not allowed in the office
Employment condition: Permanent Staff (Probation period: 6 months)

Overtime allowance: Discretionary labor system, so not applicable
Expected salary: Target OTE JPY13.2M (B8), depending on the current salary and experience, we would make our decision
Working hours: 9:15-18:00 (Rest time: 1 hour (12:00-13:00))
Holidays: Saturday, Sunday, national holidays, year-end holiday, established anniversary day, special holiday, and compensatory holiday

About FCNT Organization:
The FCNT HR Lead will provide a variety of strategic and tactical HR-related services to support achieving FCNT business goal as Lenovo Group company. With strategic thinking and leadership, the HR Lead will build partnerships with a wide range of levels of the business (from executives to general employees) and carry out a variety of tasks within a matrix organization. The HR Lead will be required to have leadership, business acumen, speed, build relationships, and produce results.

In addition, the HR Lead will ensure that employees understand the correct HR system and measures, foster motivation and change the mindset of each employee, and improve organizational strength and productivity.

The HR Lead will manage the general affairs manager within the organization to ensure that general affairs work is carried out smoothly throughout the company. The HR Lead will also lead risk compliance responses, such as taking the lead in emergencies.

Roles and responsibilities:
The expected duties are as follows, but we will flexibly decide depending on the suitability of the candidate.
  • As the HR Lead, support the business leader on all HR-related matters (recruitment, organizational design, talent development, HR operations, etc.), support the business growth, and lead HR initiatives as an SME (Subject Matter Expert) (i.e. payroll, social insurance, benefits, labor management, policy changes, etc.)
  • As the company-wide coordinator for general affairs matters, work closely with management to focus on maintaining the stable business operations of the company.
  • Responsible for planning and operation of contracts in the HR field (stamped with the General Affairs and HR Director's seal), budget formulation for the department, etc.
  • As the HR leader of FCNT, provide guidance to other members and develop their expertise, skills, etc.

Requirements:
Must Have – essential:
  • Native Japanese Communication skills (logical communication skill, negotiation skill, presentation skill, etc.)
  • Business level English skill (Communication in English in-house, outside, and overseas)
  • Professional knowledge and experience in human resources work
  • More than 10 years of experience in human resources - HR business partner, HR operations (practical experience in organization, human resources and labor management)
Good to have - desirable:
  • External networks (human resources, consultants, vendors, etc.)
  • Experience studying and working overseas
  • 5+ years of experience in a foreign-affiliated company or matrix organization
