Description and Requirements
Motorola Mobility, A Lenovo Company, is one of the world’s fastest growing smartphone providers, creating groundbreaking, affordable, high-quality products designed and built with the global customer in mind.
Position based in Mexico City office.
We are looking for a Jr. Finance Specialist for our mobile phone business. This position is a key member within the Finance organization and will be responsible of a multimillion-dollar operation.
This includes, but is not limited, to month end close, quarterly business reviews and forecast, variance analysis and cross-functional partnership with local and regional teams to ensure alignment with metrics and KPIs.
Responsibilities:
• Provide financial analysis and market insights in order to make strategy decisions.
• Collaborate with Sales, Sales Ops and Pricing teams to define the go-to-market strategy, execution status updates.
• Build and maintain complex business and forecast models used to drive business insights and recommendations.
• Work closely with the Business Operation, Credit and AR teams to understand deliveries, billings and collections.
• Assist month-end and quarter-end close activities, forecasting, budgeting, financial reporting, and ad hoc analysis.
• Proactively identify and implement process improvement opportunities.
• Prepare reports and presentations for but not limited to Mexico SLT.
•Excellent focus on compliance, policies and company controls.
Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in economics, finance, and/or accounting
• 3 years of FP&A experience.
• Strong communication skills in Spanish and English, ability to interact and present to SLT.
• Highly analytical, detail oriented and strong business sense.
• Advanced Excel skills.
• Deadline-oriented, strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work cross functionally.
· Excellent team player with strong interpersonal, organizational and communication skills
