In the role of Field Technical Consultant (FTC), you will work under the direction of the EMEA Project Management Office (PMO) leader, alongside a team of FTCs. Utilising feedback from the knowledge built by customer account teams, who you will be working closely with. 

Manage high impact situations to successful conclusion. It is a requirement of the role to produce analysis of customer situations, working with the Lenovo European Level Support Teams when appropriate. 

You must be comfortable dealing with all levels of customer representatives, as well as all levels of Sales, Services leadership, and technical communities. You will be a trusted advisor for our customers. 

You will report to EMEA Director Advanced Services Delivery.

This role can be based anywhere in Germany, in Vienna, Austria, in Basingstoke, UK or Rueil-Malmaison, France.

Escalation management: 

• Act as a single point of contact for customer escalations
• Own the coordination and oversight to problem solving efforts

Support: 

• Lead complex service delivery and develop creative resolutions to complex problems in accordance with a Statement of Work. 

Position Requirements: 

• Superior knowledge of PC and Cloud technology
• Keeping up to date on the latest market trends
• Ability to effectively interact and communicate with Senior executives to CXO level
• A passion to learn and use state of the art technologies
• The ideal candidate brings experience in some of the following areas:
• SCCM 
• Asset Management Tools 
• Patch Management 
• Driver Management 
• Image Management 
• (Modern) IT Deployment solutions 
• PC architecture knowledge 
• In depth knowledge of current Windows operating systems 
• Windows OS engineering 
• Diagnostics and trouble shooting 
• Business fluent English and local language required, depending on the location
