To support with Finance tasks the Global Accounts (GA) business unit of Lenovo’s Infrastructure Solutions Group (ISG) on worldwide level

Overall responsibilities

• Provide information to management on the actual status of the business development by assembling and summarizing data, preparing reports, making presentations of findings, analyses, and recommendations
• Track financial status by monitoring variances from plan (Revenue, Gross Profit, NonBMC, Expenses, and other key metrics)
• Support business leaders in achieving target goals & drive profitable growth
• Collaborate with Financial Analysts from different Geographies and Business Groups
• Execute & enhance existing and develop new tools for Finance & sales management to track business performance
• Contribute to the realization of company’s One Lenovo strategy and drive process and functional integration with IDG and SGG business groups

Budgeting

• Participate in the development and deployment of Lenovo ISG GA’s annual Budget
• Prepare and provide support with historical trend and market development analyses
• Coordinate and consolidate updates required for the Budget update cycles

Forecasting

• Support the monthly forecast process
• Collaborate with the other Finance and Operations functions for development of the forecasts
• Ensure proper uploading in the financial systems

Month / Quarter end closing

• Analyze the ledger status and distributes timely communication of the actuals
• Wors with the local Geos Financial and Accounting teams to ensure correctness of the results
• Reconcile transactions by comparing and correcting data if required
• Prepare monthly consolidated financial analyses
• Work on ongoing simplifications to improve, streamline & increase efficiency within financial reporting & month end closing activities

Organization

You will report to WW ISG Global Accounts CFO. You will participate in weekly collaborative planning calls and meetings. Close interaction with Geos Financial analysts, HQ Finance teams, Global Accounts Sale and Marketing, Operations, and other teams.

What you’ll bring/ Position Requirements

• Experience as Financial Analyst, Financial Controller, or similar job roles

• Experience of operating in a matrix structure

• Operational support experience particularly in a Sales and Marketing environment

• Considerable experience of the annual reporting and planning cycles, financial controls, and systems

Key Skills needed

• Good grasp of finance systems (SAP, Oracle)

• Clear understanding of accounting principles

• Ability to deliver credible analysis and insight into the results

• Excellent planning and forecasting skills

• Ability to influence, challenge and support both financial and non-financial managers
