Description and Requirements

This is a great opportunity to join Lenovo’s Global Solutions & Services Group as part of the TruScale team.

In this role, you will have the responsibility to determine and set how Lenovo’s Services and Solutions offerings make a profit, at the level of individual products and across the entire services portfolio. You will partner with Solutions Leaders and guide the Packaging, Pricing architecture, and Pricing of all Services and Solutions offerings. You will support the Pricing and profitability of future subscription-based HW, SW, and solution offerings. You will guide the executive leaders to make decisions around product growth and pricing strategy. You will pressure test pricing proposals to ensure pricing structure consistency, value pricing, and implementability.

This leader will need to leverage cross-functional resources in Product Management, Sales, Finance, and Supply Chain to deliver expected outcomes.

What you'll do:

  • Research and investigate key market trends in the as-a-service IT space and ensure Lenovo pricing models are aligned and competitive

  • Develop and implement outcomes-based and consumption-based pricing models for new TruScale offerings based on business expectations and market dynamics

  • Leverage your expertise and knowledge of services and solutions to create forecasts, P&Ls, and risk analysis for pricing engagements

  • Work with key stakeholders and subject matter experts to validate configurations for complex pricing models

  • Maximize pricing profitability through a detailed understanding of component costs environment and roadmap.

  • Review product offering with Sales / Product managers to ensure Lenovo has a compliant offering.

  • Work with Product Managers/Legal team to ensure any non-standard deals have appropriate risk review and results have been factored into pricing decision making

  • Financial modeling of opportunities in MS Excel format, applying appropriate cost adjustments

  • Think “outside of the box” to drive for innovative ways to increase profitability/win rates

Basic  Requirements:

•     Passionate about creating value for your Customers

•     7+ years in a pricing analyst role supporting account management, consulting, project management, or sales

Preferred Requirements:

•     Experience within a technology company is required, subscription business model experience preferred

•     Demonstrated strong Finance analytical capability, with experience building, analyzing, and interpreting customer data to develop pricing strategies

•     Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with strict attention to detail

•     Exceptional communication and presentation skills (both written and verbal)

•     Experience working with cross-functional teams (Marketing, Finance, Product, Sales, Support, Revenue Ops) to provide Voice of the Customer

•     Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Office required, complex Excel modeling
