We are looking for an enthusiastic full stack programmer for our Lenovo Systems Care team to work on a lot of exciting projects we will have down the road. As part of our team, you’ll get to write code for new generation, microservices based apps, as well as transition legacy apps towards modern frameworks


These are your detailed responsibilities:

·       Develop and write computer programs to perform specific tasks related to organizational goals (frontend, backend, API)

·       Embed security and data protection settings in the developed software

·       Run software tests to spot and resolve bugs and inconsistencies, perform regular audits to identify software inefficiencies, write code for software patches and bug fixes

·       Write and continually update documentation for all programs for internal and external reference

·       Collaborate with other departments to understand their needs and devise ways to accommodate them with software

·       Assist the Systems Aarchitect design client-side and server-side architectures


Organization

You will report to Lenovo Systems Care Manager, supporting customers worldwide. You will participate in weekly collaborative planning calls and meetings.


What you’ll bring/ Position Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience as a Software Developer, familiarity with common stacks
  • Knowledge of multiple front-end languages and libraries (HTML/CSS, JavaScript, Angular, XML, jQuery)
  • Knowledge of multiple back-end languages (Java, Perl, Python) and JavaScript frameworks (Angular, React, Node.js)
  • Familiarity with databases (DB2, PostgreSQL), web servers (Apache, Nginx) and UI/UX design
  • Knowledge of microservices programming and Kubernetes container orchestration is an advantage
