Description and Requirements

We are looking for a Global Account Executive who will take over responsibility for a defined customer set of Inbound Global Accounts in The Philippines.

You will concentrate on the building & development of existing customer relationships and focus on a solution-oriented sales approach. You will be able to present on various topics including the strengths of our product portfolio through to reflecting the total cost of ownership to increase our customer’s value. 

The successful candidate must be able to manage day-to-day challenges like providing tailor-made configurations for individual customer situations, dealing with the pricing function, monitoring of orders and supply, maintenance of customized portfolios as well as Customer Relationship Management and forecasting.

You'll be responsible for:

• Managing the local PC and Smart Devices Business (Intelligent Device Group) together with a team of Global Sales professionals and focus on all ONE LENOVO business opportunities for all Lenovo products, closing the sales opportunities

• Working together with Global Account Managers (GAM) and Regional Account Managers (RAM) to execute global account strategy on a local level including identification of local opportunities and assist with quarterly sales campaigning within the owned account set

• Understanding the customers governance and adapt this in the strategy (local decisions / RFPs vs executing HQ strategy). For some projects, you are responsible for product selection, configuration and proposals to local subsidiaries.

• Responsible for local / regional demand planning, outlook forecast planning and taking care of the reporting in appropriate tools (effectively manage sales opportunities)

• Focusing on day-to-day account management in driving account revenue and profit by proactive back and front office support duties

• Liaises with sales support teams, resolves customer issues and escalates sales issues effectively to sales team and management

• Close teaming with Business Partner's and Lenovo Dealer Account Manager’s for day-to-day opportunity identification, order management and escalation to order desk

You'll bring:

  • Sales experience is required, preferably in the IT industry. A university degree in business administration, information technology or similar subjects is preferred, but not a must.
  • Good Technical IT product knowledge and a high level of communication and sales skills
  • Good knowledge of Project Management & problem management
  • Excellent English verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
    Other foreign languages could be a benefit
