Description and Requirements

We have an opportunity to take your career to the next level and manage our most strategic global customers? Do you have experience from the IT market, specifically in the manufacturing and automotive sector and can you help us grow?


You will be joining a verticalized team responsible for driving worldwide revenue, profit, and customer satisfaction for Lenovo’s largest and most strategic manufacturing accounts. You will be managing and maintaining account relationships through senior level engagements for Lenovo’s entire solution portfolio. You will also develop strategies for profit and pricing proposals, as well as communicate and understand Total Cost of Ownership, industry trends, and critical success factors for leading effective IT deployments. You will be engaged with extended teams in responding to RFPs (Request for Proposals), product transition plans, and resource planning. You will report to our Manufacturing Executive Director in EMEA and be an integral part of a new wider European team.

  • Proactive, collaborative, and innovative solutions selling style while delivering on aggressive sales targets
  • Deliver excellent customer experience
  • Execute the overall go to market strategy, providing thought leadership and managing relationships with key executives
  • Utilize a structured and repeatable business process to enable strategic and accurate pipeline management
  • Collaborate across Lenovo’s fast paced and highly matrixed organization
  • Indirectly manage other sales and support professionals

Requirements

  • 5-7-year proven track record in strategic selling to Manufacturing Large Enterprise or Global Accounts
  • An entrepreneurial approach and can-do attitude toward new business development
  • Comfortable developing long-term, c-level account executive relationships from cold
  • Smart Manufacturing, Edge and Cloud Infrastructure and service sales experience is key
  • OEM Sell through is important part of this account set
  • Server or PC industry experience an advantage
  • Extremely comfortable with solution selling
  • Excellent interpersonal and communications skills
  • Ability to manage multiple complex sales engagements
  • Curiosity about the changing technology industry
  • Financial, operational and business development acumen
  • Travel to any or all customer sites when appropriate

  • Office location in Germany, ideally northern part
