Description and Requirements
The Global Account Manager will be responsible for driving worldwide revenue, profit, and customer satisfaction for Lenovo’s largest and most strategic Energy accounts. This individual will be managing and maintaining account relationships through senior level engagements for Lenovo’s entire solution portfolio. They will also develop strategies for profit and pricing proposals, as well as communicate and understand Total Cost of Ownership, industry trends, and critical success factors for leading effective IT deployments. The Global Account Manager will also be engaged with extended teams in responding to RFPs (Request for Proposals), product transition plans, and resource planning.
Key responsibilities will include the following:
• Proactive solutions selling while delivering on aggressive sales targets
• Deliver excellent CX
• Execute the overall go to market strategy; providing thought leadership and managing relationships with key executives
• Utilize a structured and repeatable business process to enable strategic and accurate pipeline management.
• Collaborate across Lenovo’s fast paced and highly matrixed organization
• Indirectly manage other sales and support professionals
Minimum Requirements:
• 7+ years proven track record in strategic selling to Large Enterprise or Global Accounts in an Energy Industry required.
Preferred Requirements:
• Server & PC industry experience
• Possesses C-level executive relationships within an account
• Excellent interpersonal and communications skills
• Ability to manage multiple complex sales engagements
• Curiosity about the changing technology industry
• Strong financial, operational and business development acumen
• Located in the Houston, Texas area and ability to travel to all customer meetings up to 50% when appropriate
