Description and Requirements

At Lenovo, we strive to put more innovation in the hands of more people so they can do more amazing things. That is why we are looking for a highly dynamic leader to help accelerate our Workstation & Smart Collaboration Business within our Fortune 500 customers. 

You will lead a Sales Team helping our Global customers solve some of the world’s most complex compute workflows. Pioneering a solutions first mentality to improve and accelerate customer innovation. Creating leading edge solutions alongside our customers driving the next wave of big innovation.  In addition to leading our WorkStation sales team, you will also have program management oversight for our Global Accounts Smart Collaboration business. This role will report to our General Manager of Global Accounts based in the UK.

What can you expect in this role?

  • Manage, lead, and develop Workstation BDM’s and solution architects in EMEA, and provide vision and oversight across other geographies, NA and APAC
  • Ensure our team understand how their work contributes to Lenovo’s strategy, market success and our organisation's goals
  • Lead by example, recognize outstanding contributions, set clear performance standards, provide straightforward feedback in a respectful way, and actively manage low contributors
  • Foster teamwork and inclusion among all employees - across locations
  • Encourages employees to be innovative, and support ideas that should be implemented
  • Promote and drive the ‘One Lenovo’ ambition, working collaboratively with all Lenovo product groups and teams
  • Build and execute on a long-term strategy/vision 
  • Drive strong partnerships with ISVs & associated alliance partners, to ensure end to end ownership across market segments 
  • Devise and execute tactical marketing programs applicable to Workstations Develop strategies for profit and pricing proposals, as well as communicate and understand the ‘Workstation sale’, industry trends, and critical success factors. 
  • Align themselves to strategic software partners and industry bodies 
  • Program Leader with oversight for our Smart Collaboration business. You will lead quarterly planning and business reviews, help drive strategic initiatives to facilitate increased sales, and be the overall Global Account Segment focal for the Smart Collaboration business unit team.


Your background & experience:

  • Minimum 10 years sales/technical experience, in or around Workstation or similar technology areas within PC/IT industry
  • Experience working with international teams, possessing cultural awareness and ability to work in a high matrixed structure
  • Proven success achieving sales goals individually and through a team
  • Possess passion for our customers and the products that deliver unique value 
  • The ability to clearly articulate a clear vision of Lenovo strategies, market trends and the visions of customers 
  • Ability to articulate where Lenovo Workstations can impact, enhance and complement customers' businesses
  • An ability to quickly grasp technical concept and ideas and translate these into solutions 
  • Excellent communication skills - presentation, negotiation 
  • The ability to work to ambitious targets and deadlines
