You are excited about the chance to build and grow an evolving brand and have extensive experience with Social and Digital leadership. You're a natural born collaborator, and enjoy working with a variety of teams, remote and onsite, to gather information and work towards common goals. THE ROLE
We're looking for a strategic, creative and results-oriented leader to join our Global Marketing Leadership Team. Reporting to the Global Chief Marketing Officer, the Global Director of Digital Marketing, you will drive the Global Digital Marketing Strategy for the website, email/push, and our corporate handles. In addition, this individual will establish new digital initiatives including website optimization, email and push interactive content, loyalty, reactivation, and new products/programs for the brand.
This role will oversee Social & Digital Design with members across Bangalore India, Sao Paulo, Brazil, and Chicago, Illinois.
WHAT THIS ROLE WILL DO:
- Overseeing a team responsible for all our B2C digital marketing channels, this role with interface with cross-functional teams (Customer Experience, Product Marketing, Brand, PR, and Geographies) to drive the success of Motorola’s website, social media platforms, email, and push campaigns
- Develop social strategy & approach across key channels and work with regions to execute locally and globally.
- Lead development of creative assets for digital channels.
- Lead development of the web consumer experience
- Interact with top management to communicate plan and strategies and share results that have had an impact on the organization
- Generate ideas for enhancing creative implementation and digital strategy to foster a digital-first environment and inspire innovation within the creative team
WHAT THIS PERSON WILL BRING:
- Degree in Business-related discipline; MBA Preferred
- 15+ years of engagement and digital marketing experience across areas including social media marketing and promotions in a B2C & B2B environment
- Exceptional knowledge of digital design for web, UX, UI, and design principles
- Strong visual and conceptual design capabilities
- Results-oriented with an exceptional track record of developing profitable engagement marketing programs and highly focus on meeting and exceeding digital performance objectives.
- Strong leadership skills and a proven ability to manage, mentor, and develop high-performing and highly engaged teams.
- Understand how best to optimize for mobile and desktop experiences (desktop, and mobile responsive)
- Highly motivated with an entrepreneurial spirit and ability to work independently, while also able to build strong internal relationships and build consensus on critical initiatives.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; comfortable leveraging large amounts of data to drive decisions and a passion for continuous testing and optimization.
- Ability to operate in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple projects simultaneously and prioritizing time and resources based on business impact.
- Passion for delighting and advocating for customers and have an intimate understanding of how and when to influence customer behavior
- Prefer candidates with experience in an agile development environment.
