As a Global Healthcare Solution and Business Development Manager, you will exhibit strong solution product management knowledge in healthcare, clinical and technology by having demonstrable success working in, performing similar prior product management roles, and/or selling to healthcare market segments such as hospitals, provider organizations, and/or healthcare systems.   


Cross-functional Experience engaged in the development, partnering, business development, direct and indirect channel consultative selling, go-to-market, support and delivery of solution offerings encompassing software/hardware/services for a healthcare information technology vendor is required, with special emphasis on newer technologies involving Virtual Health offerings currently defined as:  Virtual Care, Remote Patient Monitoring, Virtual Inpatient Rounding, Virtual Decentralized Hybrid Clinical Trials and Healthcare Virtual/Augmented Reality solutions strongly preferred. 


The Global Healthcare Solution and Business Development Manager will support the above noted functions as a technology-oriented clinical specialist, both internally and externally.  This individual should be experienced and comfortable interacting directly with both clinical as well as information technology leaders, staff and patients, understand clinical protocols, and be able to communicate the complex value propositions often associated with healthcare technology solutions internally as well as in partner and customer interactions. Additionally, the individual will be expected to inform product positioning, go to market strategies including direct and channel, and drive business development negotiations along with contractual efforts for ISV vendor partners as well as prospects and customers to support those technologies.  


The role will engage on a day-to-day basis with key contacts across multiple functional areas and business units of Lenovo’s organization as well as external vendors.  The role will require problem solving capability, the collection, aggregation and content creation of data for presentations and reports, documenting solution enhancement needs, and related business matters as well as financial, operational and status updates and recommendations to management.  The candidate will need to engage management as required with effective, efficient and responsive communication.


Key responsibilities:
•    Awareness, knowledge, experience in and understanding of healthcare technology, solutions, products, vendors, and value propositions associated with typical solution offerings in this market encompassing EHRs and especially newer offerings in the Virtual Health space as defined above.
•    Perform as a healthcare technology solution Subject Matter Expert (SME) capable of demonstrating critical credibility to IT and clinical customers alike as a key component of the Virtual Health solution process in the healthcare market.
•    Maximize knowledge of Healthcare Technology Solutions and Marketplace for subsequent communication to, education of, and participation in support of cross-functional areas both internally and in the engaging with customers, business partners and channel for messaging, demonstration tools, value propositions, training, etc.
•    Participate in the development, proofing and presentation of Healthcare Technology Solution Sales enablement materials for customers, prospects, business partners and channel.
•    Support the Healthcare Solution Managers and other Vertical Solution Sales Specialists by attending/participating in key events such as conferences, trade show booth/exhibitions, focus groups, customer briefings, customer advisory councils, strategic thinktanks, interlocks and related matters.  
•    Drive business development negotiations and lead contractual agreement process for both development partnership purposes as well as go-to-market partnerships, resulting in marketplace success for target solutions and segments.
•    Monitor, measure and progress prospective customer engagements forward, while concurrently providing communication/updates and such progress at management reviews. 
•    Support all pre and post launch organizational readiness aspects of solution lifecycle processes as it relates to go to market plans and needs.
•    Participate in/and or lead special projects as assigned.

The Global Healthcare Solution and Business Development Manager must be a change agent that facilitates and supports the driving of new solution capability for Lenovo globally. 

Position Requirements - Core Requirements:

•    5+ years of cross-functional experience in hardware-oriented product management, solution management, business development, selling, implementing, supporting for known successful technology solutions vendors with specific industry knowledge and a focus on clinical technology solutions is required
•    Ability to learn, establish and communicate healthcare-centric features, benefits, key messages, value propositions to prospects/customers regarding the Lenovo Healthcare clinical technology solution portfolio.
•    Strong business development, contractual, product management and process knowledge based on experience in a technology-centric organization including enabling solutions for sales and distribution into the healthcare marketplace.
•    Ability to lead and collaborate on cross-functional projects in a large corporate, matrixed environment.
•    Ability to interface directly and effectively communicate across customer, partner, sales and channel organizations from executive to administrative support levels.
•    Spirit of entrepreneurship and taking initiative, requiring high-energy, fast-paced, highly responsive and proactive teaming/collaboration skills.
•    Strong problem-solving skills in an autonomous capacity. Travel domestically as required up to 20% with the potential for international travel as the need arises across Geos.
•    Bachelor’s Degree in a Healthcare, Business, Marketing and/or technology-related field.
 
 Preferred Requirements:
•    Strong knowledge regarding Virtual Health marketplace and offerings focused on Virtual Care, Remote Patient Monitoring and Virtual Inpatient Rounding strongly preferred, with Virtual Decentralized Hybrid Clinical Trials knowledge strongly preferred.
•    Understanding of provider reimbursement filings, especially as it relates to virtual care and remote patient monitoring.
•    Technology industry certification, HCISPP or CISSP; background in  Healthcare Virtual/Augmented Reality solutions a plus.
•    Understanding of multiple country/region complexities for global Healthcare implementations.
•    Exceptional PowerPoint and Excel skills with competence exhibited in Microsoft Office and other Microsoft offerings including Teams, Outlook, Dynamics etc., and familiarity with Android technology and applications.
•    Master's Degree in Business, Marketing, Healthcare and/or technology-related field a major plus.
