Description and Requirements

Lenovo is looking to hire a Global Integrated Communications Manager to provide support to the International Sales Organization (ISO) and North America presidents.  Lenovo is a leading technology provider with growth outpacing our competition quarter after quarter. The NA Communications and PR team creates innovative brand stories, builds and enhances corporate reputation and brand equity, and engages North America stakeholders such as media, consumers, IT decision makers, analysts and investors, regulators, and policymakers.  The team focuses on storytelling, engagement, inspiration, and connection to accelerate the growth of Lenovo. This new team member will ignite conversations, envision the possibilities, influence and deliver new levels of creative and strategic thinking to advance Lenovo’s brand reputation. 

Summary: This position will support multiple strategic priorities: global press events, brand storytelling, content creation, executive social media and thought leadership across consumer and commercial businesses. The role is an ideal position for someone with an agency and in-house background, excellent written and oral communications skills, and strong understanding of integrated communications, media, and stakeholder relations. 

Key Responsibilities: 
  • Drive Lenovo global brand awareness  
  • Execute global channel communications strategy 
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive communications plan to further position Lenovo and its executives as thought leaders in the tech space 
  • Maintain and expand Lenovo media relationships  
  • Contribute content to North America communications team and assist with amplification to drive awareness and engagement 
  • Help expand strategic communications/thought leadership around key events 
  • Identify and secure relevant speaking opportunities for president of ISO 
  • Assist with media relations activities, in partnership with global communications leaders 

Required Skills: The candidate for this role should be an excellent writer, project manager and have an eye and attention for detail. A self-starter attitude is essential with the following:
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral 
  • Adaptable, agile, and strong time/project management skills to support critical business needs in a fast-paced, dynamic environment 
  • Excellent interpersonal skills 
  • Strong presentation skills and ability to counsel senior business decision makers 
  • Ability to manage agencies and multiple stakeholders 
  • Ability to prioritize and plan effectively, meeting deadlines 
  • Understanding of the global landscape and willingness to work across multiple time zones 
  • Passion for technology 

Minimum Requirements:  
  • Bachelor’s degree  
  • Seven years work experience in communications field Strong writing skills (please provide 3 of your best writing samples when applying) 

Preferred Requirements:  
  • Experience supporting PR for c-suite level clients  
  • Experience with crisis communications 
  • Content creation for broad audiences (ppt, internal/external communications, etc.)
