Description and Requirements

Join our Global Learning and Development team and be part of the transformation of leaders at Lenovo. Be one of the first people that new hires meet as you welcome them during our NEO (New employee orientation) program. You will get to design and deliver leadership and professional skills training for all high-potential leaders and aspiring leaders. You will also get to shape and build our culture and engagement programs around the world. End-to-end training experience is a must – from class administration, communications, live and virtual facilitation, and analytics for improvement.

Location: Raleigh, NC or Chicago, IL  


“Practice” Areas

  • Independently complete tasks which support the planning or development of global or country-specific L&D programs, courses, processes and policies, or give input for operational execution plans
  • Provide response to questions or concerns raised by HR Partners/other HR team members for L&D; may suggest improvements or changes to established processes and courses

“Operations” Areas

  • Independently complete operational work activities related to L&D, including all program, and logistic tasks
  • Complete work tasks related to the administration of learning within the Learning management system
  • Initially deliver lower-level leadership courses to mainly individual contributor roles under the oversight/ collaboration of their manager or similar role in global L&D
  • Will work on developing our new or improved L&D courses, processes, procedures or systems. 
  • Participate on Ops or cross-functional project teams
  • Execute Employee Engagement & Culture activities within China and Rest of World (e.g. holiday activities, employee communications).

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.  
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate.
  • Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.
  • Proficient with MS Teams or Zoom to deliver training classes
  • Preferred – proficiency with an LMS like SABA if possible

Education and Experience:
  • At least 3-5 years of related training experience is required.
  • Current human resources and/or Learning & Development credentials or certification preferred
