Description and Requirements

We are hiring a Spring 2023 Co-Op to join our Morrisville, NC office. This role will be a dual role working with both the Manufacturing Quality team and the Global Manufacturing team. This position will work under the direction of a lead Quality Engineer to analyze server manufacturing and quality performance. The engineer will assist in understanding root causes, help to develop corrective actions, and establish control and reporting processes.

Responsibilities:

The Mfg. Quality Engineering role:

·       On-going sustaining product and option support

o   Utilize the DMAIC approach – Develop/Measure/Analyze/Improve/Control plans. 

o   Measure and track product TPY performance across sites for both system and racks.

·       NPI product and option support

o   Participate, when required, in DFx and other early development activities

o   Create Quality Plans with:

§  Quality Checklists, Quality Control Plan, pFMEA

§  Set targets (TPY, CSA, OOB) for each phase of NPI

The Global Mfg. Engineering role:

  • Ensure no GME gating issue impacts customers, Mfg., production schedules or CSP/NW eFAI approvals.
    • GP/CSP/NW Off-Spec review and processing response < 24hrs. 

o   Provide MPS (Mfg. Process Specifications) assembly, cabling, labeling and recipe instructions to mfg. 

    • Timely work and close with effective solutions to issues during NPI phases

Requirements:

·       Pursing a bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical/Electrical/Industrial)

·       Ability to work onsite at the Morrisville, NC location

·       Prior internship experience and/or relevant project work

·       Bilingual is a plus (Mandarin/Spanish/Hungarian)
