Description and Requirements

We are hiring a recent college graduate to join the Global Supply Chain team as a Global Supply Chain Strategy Specialist to help shape the future of Lenovo’s Global Supply Chain operations. The ideal candidate would be able to work in a fast-paced environment, across global teams, and demonstrate the ability to quickly learn and develop strategic leadership skills. This is a hybrid role requiring work from our Morrisville, NC office three days a week. The target start date for this role is Spring 2025.

Role Details:

  • Strategic thinking and business analytics skills to develop future-oriented strategic initiatives through collaboration with the Global Supply Chain functions.
  • Assess, manage, and mitigate diverse risks across Lenovo’s supply chain network, bolstering resilience and business continuity through strategic and operational initiatives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to yield high-impact insights and recommendations, thereby steering strategy and scalable implementation plans.
  • Stay abreast of international supply chain trends, assessing impact on operational practices and programs.
  • Deep analytical skills applied to market and industry data to develop optimal decisions to complex challenges.
  • Clearly communicate ideas to senior levels of Global Supply Chain and influence others on important policy decisions.
  • AI/Data skills are a plus.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors Degree in Supply Chain, Operations or related field
  • Previous internship experience in supply chain
  • Strong strategic and analytical skills
  • Understanding of Supply Chain operations such as industry regulations, safety standards, environmental laws, production & manufacturing processes, quality control and inventory management
