Description and Requirements

  • Bring the ability to conceptualize, produce, and promote innovative creative experiences across all digital channels (web - mobile, desktop, tablet, social, email).
  • Produce hands-on creative direction and storytelling via web experiences on and other digital platforms, aligned with the firm’s brand vision and identity.
  • Grow and educate Motorola’s digital brand identity, strategy, and global team skills.
  • Create design processes and communication workflows for greater efficiency and improved results across departments.
  • Lead the creation of digital products and strategies in sync with user and clients’ business goals; develops navigation and structure; designs wireframes and interactive prototypes; organizes content; advocates for the needs and goals of real users.
  • Mentor and manage a global design staff and set them up for success while maintaining a data- and UX-driven focus.
  • Working with authority and professionalism, and will be the primary lead to delegate tasks and offer feedback to team members and provide design quality assurance and control while supporting team morale and promoting the expertise invested in the project.
  • Foster a culture of expertise using the latest industry-standard tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, leading to richer digital experiences.
  • Present innovation concepts, prototype mockups, participate in design/project critiques, refine design direction and provide final authorization for design details.
  • Work closely with interdisciplinary stakeholders including engineering, brand, product
  • management, marketing; and with external partners to deliver an outstanding customer.
  • Be the voice in the company’s decision making for digital design. Collaborate with cross-functional teams comprising interaction designers, content strategists, and web publishers.


  • Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design or Multimedia Design with a preferred concentration in Interactive Media, Website Design or a related field
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of digital design experience.
  • Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite and a portfolio that demonstrates skill via previous engagements.
  • Effective communication skills; both written and verbal
  • In-depth digital design capabilities and best practices
  • Detail-oriented and has excellent time management skills
  • Strong typography, layout, and visual design skills, experience with time-based media
  • Hands-on experience with current web technologies (HTML, CSS), with intermediate-level prototyping skills.
  • Proven track record of responsive website design and strong familiarity with creative trends and design patterns for mobile devices. Creative problem solving skills including storyboarding and rapid visualization.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal dependency, as well as within a team Strong eye for user-centered design and usability UX research.
  • Past experience working in a highly matrix organization with Global Teams
